Death Valley motorcycle tours and places to stay
Plan a desert ride and a place to stay as two parts of the same trip. Our Pahrump-area businesses connect Death Valley riding with RuthVille lodging, while each handles its own arrangements.
Start with the kind of motorcycle ride
Death Valley Roundup is our supported small dual sport riding business, based just outside Pahrump, Nevada. Its standard experience is for intermediate and advanced desert riders. Read its current ride description and rider requirements before planning around a rental or bring-your-own bike.
A larger adventure motorcycle and a small dual sport are different trip-planning cases. Ask about the specific ride you want rather than assuming every tour or route works for every motorcycle. The Roundup website is the source for its current experience and availability.
RuthVille accommodations near Death Valley
RuthVille is our vintage trailer lodging near Pahrump, at the gateway to Death Valley. Its restored trailers provide a place to stay before or after a desert outing. Visit RuthVille for current trailer details, availability, rates and reservation requests.
A RuthVille reservation does not book a motorcycle ride. Make both arrangements explicitly and leave room for the other things you want to do around Death Valley. A riding day, a sightseeing day and a quieter evening can be different parts of the same visit.
Parts, conditions and the bigger route
Get the motorcycle's planned maintenance and repairs finished before the trip. Compare replacement part numbers and actual condition notes when buying used components. If you are also planning the Nevada BDR, use its current official tracks and route updates to put your Pahrump-area stop into context.
Our guide to Nevada BDR lodging explains the Pahrump connection and the questions to settle for a stay. For the national park itself, check current official conditions before making a route plan. This page does not establish that a particular park road or tour is open on your dates.
